Asset at the centre
Structures are designed around the rights, cash flows, duration, liquidity and economic characteristics of the underlying asset.
ALKEMIQ combines financial and industrial expertise to build dedicated structures around the economic, legal and time profile of assets and intellectual property across Art, Media & Entertainment.
There is no single structure that can be applied to every Alternative Asset. Artworks, audiovisual productions and music catalogues have different risk profiles, rights, cash flows and time horizons.
ALKEMIQ starts from the analysis of the asset and its industrial model to identify, where appropriate, the corporate and financial architecture best aligned with the objectives of the transaction. Activities subject to regulatory reservation are carried out through authorised intermediaries, servicers, operators or other regulated entities.
Structures are designed around the rights, cash flows, duration, liquidity and economic characteristics of the underlying asset.
Transaction sustainability is assessed through revenue sources, contracts, rights, costs and value-creation potential.
SPVs, SPEs, partnerships, project companies or dedicated vehicles may be used when consistent with the nature and objectives of the transaction.
Each structure is developed within the applicable regulatory framework and with authorised operators where required.
For physical artworks and artistic estates, structures may include SPVs and, where appropriate, securitisation vehicles managed with specialised operators, while keeping cultural value creation distinct from the financial architecture.
Structuring may combine project capital, co-production, tax credits, pre-sales, distributor advances and other sources aligned with the financing and distribution plan of each production.
For music catalogues and rights, structuring considers the quality and predictability of royalty cash flows, acquisition price, active rights management and long-term value-creation potential.
ALKEMIQ does not use this website to offer financial products to the public or to perform regulated activities. Any investment, securitisation, distribution or placement transaction is governed by dedicated documentation and, where required, carried out with authorised entities.
